Pulled from the dusty files of three separate college portfolios, The Archive is a collection of narrative essays (and one poem) touching on themes of identity, growth, and belonging as an Asian adoptee into America. Aldridge utilizes experimental forms of storytelling that reflect her unconventional upbringing, and her language has been deemed by peers as "raw" and "poignant." Altogether, this is something of a coming-of-age story.
